This lyric implies the feeling of loving someone who feels like driving Maresti, which gives her a big pleasure and satisfaction. Dead and street refer to a situation that even the songwriter loves the man so much and gives her so much pleasure. It will end soon as there is nothing she can do more than race a dead-end street.


Faster than the wind Passionate as sin, ended so suddenly (Simile) (Assonance)               

The songwriter compares how she loves the man that is passionate to a sin. As shown in the complete lyrics, it explains her feeling of loving the man in the song which ends so suddenly as if it is faster than the wind as passionate as doing a sin.


Loving him is like trying to change your mind (Hyperbola) (Assonance)               

Once you're already flying through the free fall  (Hyperbole) (Alliteration)

In "trying to change your mind" it means changing the condition, but "once you've flown through free fall " is considered a condition that has happened. Basically, humans cannot change something that has happened in the past. In the lyrics, changing her mind in this condition will not change anything because even if the person who plunged changed her mind not to jump, she would not be able to return to where she was.

She said their relationship was full of beautiful colors like in autumn and so bright. But just as autumn will end and change to another season, their relationship ends.

The loss of this man is symbolized by the songwriter in blue. The blue color itself is interpreted as a symbol and cold nature. The thing called losing the things we love must make us sad. Likewise, the songwriter, who broke up with her partner, felt sad and cold. Even songwriter this meaning with phrases that have ever existed I do not know. Which meant he never seemed to feel this deep before.

This time the color used is dark gray which is used to symbolize her feelings of longing. Gray is considered a color that symbolizes depression, lack of energy, and feelings of loneliness. This means that she feels deep sadness.

 

Forgetting him was like trying to know somebody you've never met (Hyperbola)

"Forgetting him" with "like trying to know someone you’ve never met." In this utterance, the songwriter described that forgetting the man she loved was like knowing someone she never met. This is impossible and that is too much. The songwriter uses these words to attract the attention of listeners and wants listeners to understand that forgetting someone who is loved is impossible.


But loving him was red (Metaphor)

"loving him" which is when she loves her male she compares directly using color, which is red. Red has analogies like happiness, glad, delight, joy, and love. Songwriter described that she loved him with feelings of pleasure, gladness, delight, and joy.

Loving literally means feeling love and affection, while red is used to evoke erotic feelings. Red also means happiness and warmth. The songwriter wants to show how it feels when she is loving someone which affection, warmth, and erotic as the color red.

"Touching him" he was the man songwriter loved and compared with the word “realizing all you ever wanted was right there in front of you” songwriter intends to describe what she felt when touching him was like a fun thing what she wants is in front of her eyes. This is because she wants to show that she is very happy to touch the man she loves


Memorizing him was as easy as knowing all the words to your old favorite song (Hyperbola) (Assonance) 

"Memorizing him" to "as easy as knowing all the words for your old favorite song " which she keeps memories of with the man she loves is as easy as remembering every word from an old song.


Fighting with him was like trying to solve a crossword and realizing there's no right answer (Simile)(Alliteration)
"Fighting with him" songwriter wants to describe that she was fighting with a man she loved is like “trying to solve a crossword puzzle and realize there are no right answers” she meant here instead she could not find the right answer to the crossword puzzle but what she meant here was that she was very uncomfortable and frustrated when fighting with the man she liked.

 

Regretting him was like wishing you never found out love could be that strong (Assonance) 

The separation that occurred was very painful for her. It was very difficult for her to even simply regret the situation. She is always carried away by feelings of love that she never thought could be this strong.

"Losing him is blue like I'd never known" is comparing "losing him" is songwriter’s feeling that losing a loved one with "blue" has an analogy that describes sadness. Two things implied in the lyrics above illustrate that she wants to describe her relationship with a man, namely the relationship when she loses her male she will feel deep sadness by describing it with color, and colors that have a relationship with sadness is blue, so she uses blue as a picture of sadness when she loses the man she loves.
